Learn before you experience
American artist James Turrell, a pioneer of the Light and Space movement, creates immersive perceptual experiences called Skyspaces. These artworks challenge and enhance our visual perception through light, time, and space.
But when did artists decide to make art with such ephemeral materials? Like all art, Turrell’s work benefits from a little context.
Join us for a virtual talk where you’ll learn about Turrell’s development as an artist and how his work fits into the history of art. Then, meet up with the group to experience a sunset viewing of Come to Good, Fort Worth’s very own Skyspace.
